WHERE DO THEY GO FROM HORSHAM?
For the U.S. Amateur Cup, the US Adult Soccer Association’s lone remaining national cup, an interesting new plan is in the works that harkens back to old days. Sometimes, the old ways are the best. The Region I website notes, “The finals for the US Amateur Cup will be hosted by one of the four regional finalists. It will take place between 5 to 7 August. Bids are due on 15 June with a decision expected by 22 June.”

For the Open and O-30 cup competitions, we previously reported that these competitions might lead to further competition between the other regions. At this time, Region I has confirmed this with locations to be determined. “Winners will play for a national title,” says Tony Falcone, Region I Deputy Director.

US National Cup Soccer will continue to report the latest on these three competitions.
