The amateur soccer cup community centered around the U.S. Amateur Cup, the Werner Fricker Open Cup, and the Gerhard Mengel Over-30 Cup, knew the name of Christos FC long before the 2016 cup season. This club was known for 3 National Over-30 Cup titles, those being 2012, 2013, and 2014. In 2016 Christos joined the ranks of a very few clubs to have won more than one of these cup competitions but also broke ground with a new record: they are the only club to have titles in all three.

In addition to that as you can see in the tweet above the club is very proud to have 5 national titles in 5 years. They have won the Gerhard Mengel Over-30 Cup in 2012, 2013, and 2014. They also won the Werner Fricker Open Cup and the U.S. Amateur Cup in 2016 only a week apart.

On Sunday, July 31, 2016, Christos FC won their first Werner Fricker Open Cup title after a 8:1 win over Obilic Legends of Region II. The match took place at Troy Park in Elkridge, Maryland.

Winning the Werner Fricker Open Cup was an achievement unto its own. A week later, however the Christos organization would be in Milwaukee, Wisconsin playing for their first U.S. Amateur Cup!

On Saturday, August 6, 2016 Christos FC won the U.S. Amateur Cup in a 2:0 win over the Bavarian Soccer Club, the 6 time national champion club that hosted the final four this year.
